White Salmon, Wash. This week, April 7 – 13, 2019, Skyline Health is saluting its volunteers as part of National Volunteer Week, an annual celebration to honor individuals who dedicate themselves to sharing their time and talent in pursuit of creating better communities.
“Our volunteers are some of the most dedicated and committed individuals I know,” said Debi Budnick, volunteer program coordinator at Skyline. “They give countless hours serving the hospital each year – partaking in a myriad of tasks to help ensure our community is healthy, vibrant and strong.
“This celebration is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities,” continued Budnick. “We would like to say thank you to our volunteers for the work they do and the difference they make in the lives of our patients and families. We succeed because of them.”
National Volunteer week was established in 1974 and this year marks its 45th anniversary – demonstrating the enduring importance of recognizing our country’s volunteers for their vital contributions.
