Computed Tomography (CT)
Skyline’s 64-slice CT scanner allows 3-D reconstructions of the imaged areas of your body with precise details never before appreciated. It is the most advanced CT scanner available and represents the leading edge in medical technology.
Bone Density
Your bone density exam can tell you if you are at risk for osteoporosis—a severe disease that weakens the bones—and what treatments may be necessary to mitigate bone loss. Early detection is the best way to protect you from the possible damaging effects of osteoporosis. Bone density measurement is simple, safe, noninvasive and painless – you don’t even need to undress for the procedure, which requires no special preparation, medication or injection.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a safe, painless procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves reflecting off body structures to create a picture. No radiation is used with this technique. Ultrasound is often used to scan pregnancies, the abdomen, blood vessels or breasts. Our state-of-the-art ultrasound technology delivers clear, accurate images.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
An MRI is a safe, painless way to get the best possible view inside the human body. The exam uses large magnet, radio waves and computer technology to produce high quality images. MRI is used to diagnose many conditions of the brain, spine, joints, muscles, abdomen, breast, heart, prostate and blood vessels. The system allows Skyline to provide high-quality images to help doctors detect, diagnose and treat disease without using invasive procedures or X-rays.
X-Ray
This is used to assess conditions of the body, whether there are diseases, fractures or blockages present. It’s a quick and less expensive snapshot of what’s happening inside your body.
